She never looks short of flawless and yesterday was no different for supermodel Miranda Kerr.

The Victoria's Secret stunner was glowing as she made a public appearance at David Jones department store in her hometown of Sydney, Australia yesterday to promote her skin care line and sign copies of her new book.

The 28-year-old mother of one showed off her radiant complexion and slender physique in a form-fitting floor length grey maxi dress and towering platform stilettos.

Simple and elegant: Miranda Kerr looked her usual flawless self as she promoted her new book in Sydney yesterday

Miranda posed for pictures in front of advertising for her line of Kora skin care products and chatted with the gathered crown about their benefits.

She then did a book signing session for her new best selling self help book Treasure Yourself during which she chatted warmly with fans.

The mother of one was solo for the day long appearance with her husband Orlando Bloom and 8-month-old son Flynn leaving her to work.

Miranda recently returned to the catwalk for the store for the first time since giving birth to son Flynn in January having signed on to be the department store's fashion ambassador.

In an interview last month she attributed her picture perfect blemish-free skin and glossy hair to the 'miracle product' - coconut oil.

Miss Kerr, 28, who models for Victoria’s Secret, and gave birth to her and Orlando's first child Flynn in January, said: ‘I will not go a day without coconut oil. I personally take four tablespoons per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea.’

Miranda recently admitted that she would have been fine giving up her modeling career after the birth of her son Flynn had her body not gotten back into top shape.

'It's funny, but I really didn't mind if my body didn't go back to what it was before. I had decided during the pregnancy that between my skincare range, Kora Organics, and my book, Treasure Yourself, that there were plenty of other things I could do in my life.'

Home sweet home: The couple have been splitting their time between Miranda's native Australia and New Zealand, where Orlando is filming The Hobbit

The family have been splitting their time between Australia, Miranda's native country, and New Zealand, where Orlando is currently shooting his part in The Hobbit.

Earlier this week, they went house hunting for a temporary home in the country while the British actor reprises his role as elf Legolas for the two-part prequel.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is slated for release in December next year.
