Elizabeth Olsen has recently pulled off a series of stunning red carpet looks, but yesterday the up-and-coming actress failed to impress in all white at a Hollywood event.
The porcelain skin beauty looked washed out as she arrived at the Spirit Awards Nominees Brunch wearing an ensemble of head-to-toe cream and white.
The 24-year-old's white Chloé shirt dress paired with a Chloé Spring 2012 blazer were on trend, but they just weren't the right hue for her complexion.

The youngest Olsen sister, who currently stars in the critically acclaimed drama Martha Marcy May Marlene was one of several stars to attend the gathering at the ultra chic and pricey BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, California.

Other familiar faces at the pre-awards show gathering included Twilight actress Nikki Reed and Oscar winner Melissa Leo of The Fighter fame.
Also putting in red carpet appearances were Carnage actor John C Reilly, Antwone Fisher star Derek Luke and The Last Exorcism actress Ashley Bell.
The event was meant to help raise money for up-and-coming filmmakers.

During the course of the brunch, the winners of four Spirit Awards filmmaker grants were announced with each received funding from Film Independent for future projects.
The 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards ceremony will be held in a tent on Santa Monica beach on Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Actor, writer and producer Seth Rogen will serve as host of the show which will air on the IFC cable channel that evening at 10pm.
