It's the staple colour of any wardrobe and it appeared that tonight on the red carpet stars stuck to the black is best mantra.
Angelina Jolie, Stacy Keibler, and Amber Heard Ashlee Simpson led the stars in the dark and dramatic style stepping out in sleek shiny gowns, lashing of lace and cut out creations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards this evening.
Miss Jolie arrived with her partner Brad Pitt and the 36-year-old sashayed up the carpet in her draped Grecian style gown in black lamé by Jenny Packham.

Deadline.com reported that bomb-sniffing dogs were brought to the area after those in the theater were told to leave ‘immediately’.
A spokesman with the Los Angeles Police Department, however, told MailOnline that they knew of no security threat at the auditorium.
The venue also hosts major L.A. events like the Emmy Awards, the People’s Choice Awards and the Oscars.
