Kelly Osbourne split head open while dirty dancing in nightclub, reveals her mother Sharon

When Kelly Osbourne announced that she was rushed to a Miami hospital over the weekend with a head injury, the cause was not initially known.
But the reason behind her emergency visit to Miami's Mercy Hospital was finally revealed today on mother Sharon Osbourne's show, The Talk.
According to the 59-year-old, Kelly cracked her head open because she was engaged in some dangerous dirty dancing at a nightclub.

'The guy takes her down to dip, and as he dips her down, she hits her head on amplifier,' Sharon said on her CBS programme.
She added: 'It split her head open.'
It's unfortunate and fairly ironic that Kelly, 27, is a former Dancing With the Stars contestant given how she was injured.
She tweeted about the incident yesterday, but let her mother explain the cause.

Sharon verified her daughter's statement on the show, revealing that though Kelly returned to her hotel after the incident, she was rushed to the emergency room after fainting twice.
She received stitches and was told that she had a concussion; she is currently back in Los Angeles recovering.

The Dancing With the Stars alum knows how was quick to graciously thank those that helped her survive her head trauma.

It seems like Ozzy Osbourne's daughter really just can't seem to cut a break.
In addition to her unexpected hospital stay, she's also come under fire by the LGBT communities for her use of the word 'tranny' during a recent magazine interview.
She described her humiliation at discovering that ex-fiance Luke Worrall had cheated on her with a transsexual.
She told Glamour magazine recently: 'Having to tell them my fiance had cheated on me with a tranny who sold his/her story to the press [was the most uncomfortable moment]. It was so humiliating.'
The tweets: The 27-year-old took to her Twitter page to let her fans know that she's OKKelly, who is the face of Madonna's Material Girl for Macy's collection, has since apologised, tweeting: 'I can only apologize if I offended u. I have lots of transgender friends that like 2be called trannys...'
As per usual, however, the reality starlet had to have the last word.
She added: 'You should learn to fight the real fight - not with people like me who love and fully support you! I APOLOGIZED.'
