Lady Gaga covers up for Indian Formula One after-party... but ruins demure look with suspect microphone

She hinted her outfit would be a 'hybrid of my vision and the Indian vision' before her gig at the after-party of the Indian Formula One.

And granted, Lady Gaga did cover up - albeit in a PVC-style skirt that wrapped around her thighs.

But the 25-year-old's vision became all too apparent when she turned around to reveal her bejewelled leotard in all its glory at the F1 Rocks show in New Delhi.

Her demure look was also ruined by an extremely suspect microphone that, to the naked eye, looked suspiciously phallic.

She teamed that with a Juliet cap-style veil and huge clear beaded choker which matched her towering black PVC heels.

The Poker Face singer revealed she had been 'dying' to visit India and had promised fans a 'unique performance' ahead of the show to celebrate India's debut on the F1 circuit.

At a press conference on Friday, before yesterday's race, Gaga had sported a giant beehive hairdo modelled on the country's flag.

I love India: Sporting a beehive hairdo, Lady Gaga drinks out of her trademark teacup as she promises her after-party audience a 'unique show'

'I work very hard, so every one of my performances are so different,' she said.

'My outfit is going to be a hybrid of my vision and the Indian vision.

'I have modernised it a bit. There will be some surprises,' she added.
That's nice, how much? Lady Gaga was also spotted shopping at a handicrafts arcade in New Delhi ahead of her after-party gig

'I am extremely grateful to the people for welcoming me here,' Gaga had gushed to hundreds of journalists at the press conference.

'The sights in India are beautiful, but most beautiful are the people. I can't wait to come back here and see more of my fans,' she added.

The singer had previously visited a fabric market close to the $400 million Buddh International Circuit to snap up some bargains.

Also at the F1 Rocks party were Boy George and lead BBC F1 analyst Eddie Jordan.

Wearing a canary yellow hat and shirt adorned with poppies, the singer took to the decks for a DJ set at the party.
