Woman in black! Kylie Minogue channels Parisian chic at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman Awards

She can always be counted to add a touch of classic chic to any occasion.
And tonight it looked like Kylie Minogue had picked up some style notes from her recent time in Paris.
The 43-year-old looked gorgeous in a black prom dress at tonight's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman Awards at Banqueting House, Whitehall.

The singer looked stunning in the knee-length dress, which sported a slightly puffed-out skirt and lacy capped sleeves.
She kept her makeup simple, drawing attention to her eyes with smoky black liner, but brightening things up with pink lipstick.
Kylie was spotted in an equally elegant black ensemble out shopping last week in Paris, so perhaps she took her cue for the evening's attire from the fashion capital.

Ultimate Icon award
The Can't Get You Out Of My Head singer was on hand to present the evening's Icon Award to Blondie star Debbie Harry.
She tweeted immediately afterwards: 'Just presented the Icon Award to the amazing, sexy and talented Debbie Harry at The Cosmo Ultimate Women Awards. #Legend'
Unfortunately Debbie appeared to have lost some of her iconic fashion sense, as she looked odd in a floor length black dress covered in lace, accessorised with long black gloves.
Kylie also showed off her new chestnut brown locks, which are quite a change from her trademark blonde.
Perhaps she thought it was time to follow in the footsteps of her sister Dannii.
Kylie debuted her new look in London two weeks ago when she filmed an advert for Lexus at the famous Abbey Road studios.
The pair of them have tried various different hairstyles over the years but Dannii recently went for the chop with her dark hair - so maybe Kylie will consider that too.
